Sunkist arrived at the Center on February 29, 2024 from the Los Angeles area. She was full of love knowing she was going to be taken well care of. The medical team was expecting her to be due any day, but the moment mama Sunkist left to her foster home she gave birth to 4 healthy babies! We are so excited to announce we have LEAP DAY babies!
Sunkist is such a great mama – she has been taking care of her babies so well. She instantly went into mom mode and has been watching over her little beans.

Cola, Fanta, Pibb, and Sprite received their first check ups on March 5, 2024, just 5 days after being born. They are doing well and the medical team is so proud of Sunkist for being such a great mama and looking over her babies.

They are thriving in Foster! All the kittens have been nursing well and now starting to discover the world! As of March 16, the kittens are 3 weeks old and now so curious about their surroundings. Mama Sunkist is doing very well and enjoying her views at her foster home.

Update 3
On March 28, 2024, Sunkist and the kittens arrived to receive their first vaccines and get another check-up to make sure they are all doing well! At 4 weeks old, they have fully opened their eyes and starting to discover their surroundings and personalities.

Mama Sunkist is also doing really well! She is such a sweet and friendly cat. She takes good care of her babies but also makes sure she gets her own cuddle times too with her favorite people.

These adorable little ones couldn’t be any more charming! They’re having a blast in their foster home, loving their cozy bed and snuggling up with each other for naptime. At 5 weeks old, they’re growing and discovering more about the world with each passing week.

Today, on April 11th, Sunkist and her adorable furry sodas returned for their third check-up and vaccinations. At 6 weeks old, these little ones are thriving and very healthy! Their foster family is doing an outstanding job caring for both the babies and mama Sunkist. All five are flourishing, and we’re thrilled to witness their continued growth and well-being.

Today, April 26th, Sunkist’s furry sodas are getting their spay/neuter surgery! These adorable 8-week-old babies will start to become available this weekend!
