Angel and her Holiday Babies

This Holiday Season, Angel and her two adorable babies spread festive cheer at the Center!

 

Angel, an adorable 19-month-old Terrier mix, arrived at the Center on October 21st, visibly very pregnant and she looked ready to give birth any day! She was placed with a loving foster family to ensure she received the care and attention she needed. Just 12 days later, she welcomed two precious puppies, named Jolly and Spirit. The sweet sibling duo made their first visit to the Center on November 2nd. At just two days old, they were tiny bundles of pure joy!

 

 

Update 1

 

During our check up process, the Center’s medical team assessed Angel, Jolly, and Spirit to ensure that both Mama and her babies were healthy and thriving. They checked vital signs and made sure Mama was recovering well after giving birth. The adorable trio were doing amazing! They went straight to their foster family to recover and stay cozy.

On December 2nd, the adorable Terrier family visited the Center for their 4-week check-up. Mama and her puppies were weighed, and Mama Angel received her essential vaccinations to keep everyone healthy. Jolly and Spirit are thriving and becoming even more adorable with each passing day!

 

 

Update 4

 

On December 16, Angel, Jolly, and Spirit arrived for their final check up! Jolly and Spirit are 8 weeks old and will be getting split from Angel. It is time for them to find their new forever families and time for Angel to receive all the attention and love she deserves as well.  They wait to split the babies and mama until they are 8 weeks old to make sure siblings know proper social skills, properly wean, and develop good behaviors from mama. But, of course, we know that Mama Angel is the most caring, sweet, and loving mama.

 

 

 

Update 5

 

On, January 2nd, Jolly and Spirit begin the new year with a new goal! That is to find a forever home and make this the best year for them! At 10 weeks old today, they will receive their spay and neuter surgery. They are safe to do so since they are at a proper weight. They even got cute portrait photos to remind people that they will become available for the weekend.

 

 

Update 6

 

They have all been adopted this weekend (first weekend of January) and are enjoying their new chapters in life!
