Gumdrop Has a Bright Future Ahead!
The world’s sweetest kitty is ready for his forever family!
Gumdrop, a 3 year Domestic Short Hair blend, had a real rough start to life that left him reclusive and introverted. When he first came to the Center, he hated being pet and would hide in the back of his cat condo. Refusing to give up on him, the Center sent the little tuxedo coat to foster care. It was in his loving foster home that Gumdrop started to heal, learning to love again and becoming more comfortable being his true self. Now, the Center feels Gumdrop is ready to find his permanent people. This kitty is incredibly affectionate to those he trusts and will give back the love he gets tenfold. He would do best in a quiet home with a patient, understanding, and supportive family who will let him acclimate to their home at his own pace.
Gumdrop will remain in foster care until his new family is able to take him home. He has been altered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. Gumdrop is microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.

Helen Woodward Animal Center pets come from a variety of sources, such as the transfer of animals from public shelters to relieve overcrowding, working with local dog and cat rescues, as well as owner surrender. Every animal in our pet adoption program has received a medical examination, spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, tons of TLC and a microchip. Our goal is to adopt our pets into loving and permanent homes. Helen Woodward Animal Center Adoption Counselors are here to help you choose a pet who will be your perfect match for life.
