Edinburgh is the King of Your Heart!
Edinburgh, a 5-month-old Catahoula leopard dog, has been waiting for your arrival! This goofy young prince came to the Center at only 10 weeks old from the land of Louisiana. Immediately he charmed the courtiers of Helen Woodward Animal Center with his playful personality. As his stay at the Center’s court prolonged, he demonstrated an affinity for going on walks and playing with toys in the fields.
However, he also demonstrated he has the disposition of a king. He makes his presence known to the other knights staying at the Center, sometimes to the detriment of realm cohesion. But, Edinburgh is not a grumpy vagabond, when he’s introduced to the right canine companions, he thrives in the social environment. Thus, any kingdom looking to take this sweet prince home must first introduce any caKNIGHTS to him first, to ensure stability for the realm. Edinburgh would also prefer to go home to a kingdom with an older and wiser council – no children under 8 – and who have experience playing host to such a commanding poochie. Come! Edinburgh is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. He’s been altered and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. He is microchipped for identification as with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open Monday to Thursday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information call 858-756-4117, option #1.
Helen Woodward Animal Center pets come from a variety of sources, such as the transfer of animals from public shelters to relieve overcrowding, working with local dog and cat rescues, as well as owner surrender. Every animal in our pet adoption program has received a medical examination, spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, tons of TLC and a microchip.
