SEA-LOVING CANINES SET SAIL AT HORNBLOWER’S 17th ANNUAL PET DAY ON THE BAY!
Helen Woodward Animal Center Orphan Animals Benefit from the Family Fido-Friendly Event! 
Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. (Apr. 06, 2017) – Hornblower’s pup-friendly Pet Day on the Bay is gearing up to set sail once again. The dog-loving tour around the San Diego Bay is celebrating its 17th year of providing marine-lovers and canine-fanatics with tail-wagging adventures and has become so popular that a fourth cruise has been added to the day, which previously offered only three. The annual event will set sail Saturday, April 29, 2017 with departure times of 9:30am, 11:15am, 1:00pm and 2:45pm. A FREE canine ticket is included with the purchase of one adult ticket ($25). A portion of the proceeds supports the orphan pets at Helen Woodward Animal Center and a donation of a gently used blanket or towel is suggested.
The only event of its kind in southern California, Hornblower encourages dogs to join their owners on a lovely daytime boat ride. Helen Woodward Animal Center’s adorable adoptables will be portside to wave a paw to human and canine guests as they depart from the dock. Once on board, dogs and their owners will be treated to a one-hour tour around the beautiful bay with plenty of gorgeous video and photo opportunities. Each cruise departs from 1800 N. Harbor Drive, San Diego 92101.

Well-behaved dogs of all sizes and breeds are welcome for Hornblower’s Pet Day cruises. (Canines must be kept on a leash throughout the ride.) Guests can board without dogs, as well, or simply stop by the ticket booth between 9:30am and 3:15pm to drop off blankets, towels or financial donations for Helen Woodward Animal Center.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $12.50 for children ages 4 to 12 and $23 for seniors and the military. Children three and under are free.
