VIEWS, BOOs AND TASTY FOODS AWAIT AT 11TH ANNUAL BOW WOW BRUNCH CRUISE!

Helen Woodward Animal Center Orphan Pets invite costumed canines aboard charity Hornblower Cruise

Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.  (October 15, 2019) – San Diego brunch-loving pups are tucking napkins into their collars in paw-paration for the 11th Annual Bow Wow Brunch Cruise benefiting the orphan pets and programs at Helen Woodward Animal Center. A decadent, seasonal, brunch-buffet awaits human and canine guests alike. The HOWLoween themed brunch cruise sets sail around the magnificent San Diego Bay this Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 12 p.m.

The Bow Wow Brunch Cruise is the perfect opportunity for furry paw-ssengers to adventure upon one of Hornblower Cruises’ most pup-ular San Diego attractions with their favorite humans.  As cruisers prepare to depart, they can rub noses with Helen Woodward orphan puppies benefiting from this boo-tiful charity event.  Once onboard, participants will be treated to a delicious freshly prepared gourmet brunch buffet, free-flowing champagne and mimosas, and delightful desserts. For the canine cruisers, a Fido approved doggie buffet (complete with take-home goodie bags) is provided, courtesy of Petco.  When the dining is done, cruisers are encouraged to head up to the top deck to witness or participate in the cutest Howl-oween-themed canine costume contest, where fantastic prizes are awarded.

Other activities include expert pet handling skills and tips from Darris Cooper from Petco, plus a trick contest, and a special appearance from Chopper the Biker Dog.

Tickets are $98 for adults, and $61.15 for children ages 4-12.  (Taxes and service fees are additional.)  Children three and under are free.   A portion of each ticket sale will go to the pets and programs at Helen Woodward Animal Center.  Each adult passenger is invited to board with one dog. Canines must be kept on a leash throughout the cruise.

“What better way to bond with our four-legged friends than enjoying a beautiful brunch on a Hornblower Cruise,” stated Helen Woodward Animal Center Vice President of Development Renee Resko.  “We love that Hornblower shares in our love for furry faces and are so grateful for their continued support with these fun and festive events.”
