Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. (Apr. 3, 2026) – The glamorous Hollywood Beauty Awards does more than celebrate the most distinguished in FILM, TV and MUSIC’s makeup, styling, hair and wellness. Since 2017, the elegant event has become instrumental in helping shine a light on the beauty of pet rescue. Thanks to founder Michele Elyzabeth and Senior Executive Producer Pamela Price, Helen Woodward Animal Center is honored to once again participate as the beneficiary of the 11th Annual Hollywood Beauty Awards, Friday, Apr. 10th, 2026 at the Taglyan in Los Angeles. This year, two fuzzy orphan Center representatives, Hulu, and Prime, will serve as special Red-Carpet Corres-PAW-ndents, rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in Hollywood.

The elegant, star-studded award show has become one of Hollywood’s topmost celebrations, drawing major stars and celebrities to the glamorous event which recognizes the architects of beauty; talent in hair, makeup, photography, styling and more. The tie-in to animal welfare is a personal one, close to the heart of the event’s founder & CEO Michele Elyzabeth who, as an avid rescuer, believes in pets’ ability to make the world a more beautiful place. In 2017, Elyzabeth invited Helen Woodward Animal Center to the Hollywood Beauty Awards as beneficiary following the Center’s extensive rescue efforts during Hurricane Harvey, creating a beautiful partnership that has continued for nine years.
Welcoming orphan puppy corres-PAW-ndents on the red carpet connects the star-power of the event to the beauty of the beneficiary’s mission. Over the years, some of the Center’s most special representatives have had four paws and a rescue story of their own. From natural disaster survivors to shelter pets looking for a second chance, these animals have walked the red carpet with stars, and some have even found forever homes with them.
This year, 11-week-old Chihuahua blend orphan pups Hulu and Prime will rub furry noses with the stars inside the stunning venue. The two tiny corres-PAW-ndents were part of a large litter of seven, rescued from a highly impacted shelter in Colorado. 90% of Helen Woodward Animal Center’s rescues are pulled from challenged shelters, where lives are most at-risk. For Hulu and Prime, this special event is a true celebration of their beautiful lives.
“These celebrities are some of the most influential people in the world,” said Helen Woodward Animal Center PR Director Jessica Gercke. “When stars of this caliber snuggle with one of our orphan pets and share their love for rescue, they encourage others to help save lives. We are incredibly grateful to the Hollywood Beauty Awards for this beautiful opportunity.”
“We are proud and honored to be associated with Helen Woodward Animal Center,” said Hollywood Beauty Awards CEO and Founder Michele Elyzabeth.

While most celebrity presenters are kept secret until the big day, attendees consist of some of the hottest and brightest in Hollywood. Past big-name honorees and presenters have included Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, Immaculate), Ciara (The Color Purple), Viola Davis (EGOT – Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Winner), Andra Day (Grammy Award and Golden Globe Winner), Johnny Depp (Golden Globe Award Winner, Pirates of the Caribbean), Laura Dern (Academy Award, Primetime Emmy Award Winner, and 5 time Golden Globe Award Winner), Anne Hathaway (Academy Award, Golden Globe Award and Primetime Emmy Award Winner), Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, The Avengers), Andie MacDowell (Groundhog Day, Four Weddings and a Funeral), Carey Mulligan (The Great Gatsby, She Said), Joe Mantegna (Tony Award Winner, Three Amigos, CBS’s Criminal Minds), Leah Michele (Glee, Scream Queens), Lionel Richie (4 time Grammy Award Winner), Britney Spears (Grammy Award, 6 time MTV Video Music Award and 7 time Billboard Music Award Winner), Charlize Theron (Academy Award and Golden Globe Award Winner), Sofia Vergara (ABC’s Modern Family), Denzel Washington (Tony Award, 2 time Academy Award Winner, and 3 time Golden Globe Award Winner), and many more.
As for the rest of the furry friends at Helen Woodward Animal Center, they are simply touched that the glitzy award ceremony reminds those in Tinsel Town that fur often covers the faces of those most fair.
