Donate Goods

Items urgently needed

  • Fax/Printer/Copier machine for Therapeutic Riding
  • ¾ to one ton pickup truck with towing capacity for at least a four horse trailer, loaded
  • Horse trailer with at least the capacity for carrying four horses, in good condition. Very important in light of last year’s fire evacuation.
  • AVan in good condition. Would like it to be one of:
    • Honda Odyssey
    • Nissan Quest
    • Dodge Grand Caravan
    • Kia Sedona
    • Toyota Sienna

 

Any of these items will help the Center to provide better care and service to  the animals and people that depend on them.

Adoptions  
  • Dishwashers to wash all those Dog and Cat Food Dishes and water bowls
  • Industrial clothes washer and dryer. The old ones are deceased.
  • Biscuit treats (the gift that keeps on giving).
  • No-tip / No-slip Stainless steel food/water bowls ‘cause it’s hard to give a dog or cat a handful of water!
  • Desktop style printer so we can print the paperwork and send the pets go home with their new families!
  • Plastic kiddie pools for the dogs to play in. (Not Kitty pools!)
  • Clipboards for paperwork.
  • Metal foldable exercise pens for puppies. (Not those wire crates, but the ones you can make into a circle.)
  • Colored copy paper. Bright, happy colors!
  • Dry erase markers or black, red and blue sharpies. (The old ones are dull.)
  • Computer Systems Needed - Minimum of PIII Processor or above
  • Coveralls. New is great but we'll also take used coveralls. Any size...small to large. No holes, please!
  • Office chairs
  • Handheld vacuum cleaner

Equine Hospital 

  • Isopropyl Alcohol for preparing for surgery. (Cleanliness is next to Godliness.)
  • MRI machine to advance the diagnostic equipment available to horse owners. (This can save lives!)
  • Fly Spray. (To keep those pesky summer flies away!)
  • Warming Cabinet for fluids for the barn. (Christen says this keeps the fluids warm on those cold nights.)

 

Therapeutic Riding

  • Horse trailer with at least the capacity for carrying four horses, in good condition. Very important in light of last year’s fire evacuation. (Urgent Need)

  • Corded clippers- Laube brand, mini lazor, variable speed.
  • Cordless clippers- Wahl pocket pro. A quiet clipper for more delicate trimming.
  • High quality dressage saddle, preferably with thigh blocks to help with student stability.
  • Leather halters in various sizes.
  • Leather English bridles in various sizes.
  • Fleece half-pads for the comfort of horse and rider.
  • New, adjustable helmets in varied sizes (S, M, L). Helmets do have an expiration date.
  • Hard brushes and soft brushes for grooming horses.
  • Light weight fly masks-Cashel Crusader fly masks.
  • Free standing three tier saddle rack to save space.
  • Bell boots, must have Velcro, no pull over ones, in various sizes.
  • Dressage saddle pads, extra large.
  • Stirrup leathers in various sizes.
  • Safety stirrups, S-curves and peacock styles.
  • Ice boots or magnetic boots for sore legs.
  • Therapeutic Riding Surcingle.
  • Labeling machine.
  • Jumping blocks.
  • Wooden jumping/ground poles.
Club Pet Maintenance
  • Hydro Surge Bathing System
  • Costco cat tree (details)
  • 3 Ergonomic Office Chairs for the front desk staff…waiting for your pet to arrive!
  • Blankets to keep our dog and cat guests comfy.
  • Industrial Clothes Dryer so we can wash all those comfy dog and cat blankets!
  • 3/4 –ton pickup. (Joe says the old one has about a ba-jillion miles on it. HELP!)

Public Relations

  • A new digital camera with “high resolution mega pixels”. (Trisha says our Pet photos in the newspapers, magazines, and on the internet will be much better…which means faster adoptions!)
  • smaller SUV or Mini Van to transport our adoptable pets to and from their TV and radio appearances. We need enough room to hold 2 large dog crates.

Accounting

  • Four ergonomic chairs.
  • Hewlett Packard LaserJet printer less than 2 years old.
Animeals
  • Ziploc quart or gallon bags. (Cheryll says Ziploc are the only ones that stay closed when filled with pet food)
  • Zipper-type sandwich or snack bags. (For treats! Any brand is OK)
  • Canned cat food. (Especially Friskies, Nine Lives, or Whiskas. Yummy!)
Development Volunteer
  • Clipart Library on CD
  • Laptops (“wifi” enabled would be best) for volunteers and staff to use at offsite events.
  • Wacom Tablet, any size
  • Reams of pastel paper because white paper is just boring.
  • Digital camera to catch you sharing your talents with the animals and people we serve.
Pet Encounter Therapy Education
  • A case of disposable latex or vinyl gloves (medium or large) used when touching yucky things.
  • Gift certificates to local gas stations. Gas is expensive!
  • New cordless drill. For cage repairs? Or are they practicing to join the drill team?
  • 2 Rubbermaid hose reels for reeling-in hoses.
  • AVan in good condition. Would like it to be one of:

  • 2 Ionic Breeze Germicidal Protection Silent Air Purifiers

Medical

  • A new mini refrigerator to keep the medicines and vaccines fresh

Critter Camp creates a lot of needs! Do you have, or can you get, any of these items?

  • 10 small, clear plastic, storage containers- 6qt and 12qt to organize summer camp activities and keep our ducks in a row. (Hey! We don’t have any ducks!)
  • 6 Large clear plastic storage containers- 25 gallon size. (For bigger ducks?)
  • New crayons and markers. (The old ones are kinda yucky.)
  • New or gently used water color, tempera and acrylic paints.
  • Animal-themed children's books. (Lions? Tigers? Bears? Oh, my!)
  • Hula hoops and Big bubble wands. (Cause Critter Camp is a ton of fun!)

PAWSitively Pets store:

  • New pet related items or gifts for resale in the PAWSitively Pets store.
  • Vending Machines-soda/snack

 

Human Resources

 

  • Gift certificates for employee recognition. (Politically correct “tummy rubs”.)
  • 2 ergonomic desk chairs so we can “Sit” and “Stay”.
  • Reams of bright-colored paper. Cindy says the staff is more likely to read memos on bright paper.
