At Helen Woodward Animal Center we have many wonderful dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens available for adoption. Our animals come from a variety of sources, such as owner surrender and the transfer of animals from public shelters to relieve overcrowding. All of our animals have received medical care, spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and a microchip. Our goal is to adopt out our animals into loving and permanent homes. Our adoption counselors are here to help you choose an animal that will be the right fit for both of you for life.

Helen Woodward Animal Center offers a "Spay....don't litter" Program for people looking to surrender litters of puppies or kittens. Helen Woodward Animal Center will cover the cost of having the mom spayed at a participating veterinarian. Please call the front desk at 858.756.4117 ext.1 to set up an appointment.
