Puppy Bowl Watch Party Recap!
Helen Woodward Animal Center’s Puppy Bowl Watch Party in San Diego was everything we hoped for and more! A joyful, community-driven event filled with wagging tails, friendly competition, and plenty of love for pets in need.
We extend a huge thank you to McGregor’s Bar & Grill in San Diego for generously hosting this dog-friendly Puppy Bowl event. Opening their welcoming patio to our pups, supporters, and Puppy Bowl fans helped create an unforgettable day celebrating animal adoption, rescue, and community support. Their hospitality and game-day spirit truly made a difference.

We are also incredibly grateful to Raising Cane’s for their continued support throughout the weekend. Their generosity helped fuel the fun while directly supporting the lifesaving programs and orphan pets at Helen Woodward Animal Center. Partnerships like these make it possible for us to continue helping animals find loving homes.

Congratulations to our Cornhole Tournament champions, Patrick and Bryan! 🏆 Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered, and embraced the comPETitive spirit. Every game played helped raise awareness and support for orphan pets in San Diego, giving them the second chances they deserve.

From cheering on our Puppy Bowl stars Leo and Remy, to celebrating every tail wag, toss, and touchdown, this event was a powerful reminder of what happens when community, compassion, and animal welfare come together. Thank you to everyone who joined us, showed heart, and helped make a meaningful impact for pets in need.
